Needs rebalancing. First few levels were pretty fun, but it gets real old, real fast when 1 roach or beetle takes out 4 of my ants at a time.

Roaches are stupidly OP compared to anything. Any zone with a chokepoint is ridiculous as 1 unit and that tower can permanently defend.
What a useless piece of garbage.

WOOT! Beat the game, and my total score was 34,848! :DD i went with pure speed, then strength up to 3 after a few battles, cuz speed wouldnt go up anymore. >:D the last one was pretty easy, just let the beetles conquer the roaches, then take over the bases before the beetles can. :DD fun, 4/5. Could make more bugs on here please.

Ant tips in general: Immediately colonize, try to stay with more colonies than your opponent. However, there is a great option you have on some levels (such as the infamous level 5) where you can have more colonies or even the same as your opponent. on level 5, once you have 3 colonies, you can wait for your opponent to expand into the colonies bordering yours. right as your opponent takes those colonies (using up 5-8 of his hoppers to do so) you can decimate the colony by plowing ants into the colony until it's yours. you get the colony and your cpu opponent loses troops. In some cases, if you have more colonies than your opponent with some unclaimed colonies between you, you can just wait them out. They HAVE to colonize, otherwise you'll just keep getting more and more ahead of them. once they colonize, you take the colony from them. this works extremely well. General ants tip: make use of your speed. use it to reach colonies quicker and apply attacking tactics.

tip for level 5 (assuming you went as ants with all speed like i did). immediately expand to both colonies next to your original one. take one with what you have, then resupply those ants back to your main colony to take the other (if you need to). wait for the hoppers to take the colonies bordering your colonies. plan your attacks so your ants will get to the colonies they capture RIGHT as they capture them, so instead of you losing 14 ants and defending 2 colonies, your opponent loses 14 hoppers and since your ants pile in quicker, you get the colony anyway. It'll put you in a huge advantage, then you take the center. you'll have a 5 to 3 advantage, easy win.

Ok guys, listen to this:
this game is easy. it's fun, but it's easy. I beat this on my first try using all speed ants. you know why? This game is all about COLONIZATION. Quicker colonization means quicker expansion which goes in a cycle. Take ants, go quick, you can beat anyone (i never had to redo a single level). Just keep on expanding, and always feed ants to the border colonies (they don't do anything if they are just sitting around) EXPAND EXPAND EXPAND! Also for the queen, try to catch her in a loop. For the last level, beat out your neighbour (the cockroaches or hoppers or whoever they are) and then focus your ants in the middle.

WON!!!!!!! the queen regens health when its in a nest, when you attack, she comes out and attacks the nest that is attacking, try to trap the queen in a loop.

If you go with more strength instead of speed, you basically can't beat the last level. The computer puts up a tower that you just can't get past and you're done. 3/5.

neat concept, but too much relies on whether you choose speed or strength. The right combination makes some levels ridiculously easy, while the wrong combination renders a level impossible
