Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. Excellent concept. The idea of having to actually cast your spells versus just hit a button is great. However, lack of depth - only 4 spells per class, and no real variety. No storyline or plot, and items can be purchased but no inventory screen. Fun game, however. 3/5.

A shallow passtime-of-a-game, but nothing more. While the core mechanic is a bit out of the ordinary, the rest of the game is simple, repetitive, and doesn't present a challenge. This game feels like it could have brought more strategy to the table between spell choice, skill progression, and item purchases, but in the end combat boils down to shield-nuke-nuke-ad-infinitum and the store is a no-brainer.

If I 'cast' a spell too quickly after the last one, the runes will light up in the correct pattern, but no spell is cast. This is frustrating. I do like the drawing interface though (were you thinking of touch-screens?).
