Deskripsi
"Ode To Pixel Days" bercerita tentang seorang remaja bernama Hans yang naksir seorang pemandu sorak. Hans ditolak karena dia jelek dan tidak karismatik. Hans mencoba mengubah ini dengan membangun mesin yang akan membuat semua orang terlihat sama. Saat semua orang terlihat sama, dia bisa mendapatkan gadis impiannya! Tapi tentu saja, kenyataannya tidak seperti itu; dan Hans akan mengalami pengalaman pahit. Game ini dimainkan di sebuah kastil yang mewakili dunia ciptaan pikiran Hans. Tujuan artistik game ini adalah membawa pemain masuk ke dalam pikiran Hans, membuat mereka menjalani pengalaman emosional, harapan, dan mimpinya. Pengalaman inti game ini adalah perasaan yang dialami seorang anak laki-laki saat memasuki pubertas; kesepian, kesedihan, rendah diri, keinginan untuk mengubah diri dan segala sesuatu di sekitarnya. Game ini sepenuhnya dibuat oleh satu orang, yaitu saya.
Cara Bermain
WASD atau tombol arah untuk bergerak dan melompat. SPASI untuk berinteraksi.

Hans might have had better luck if he'd learned her name instead of calling her "cheerleader". Chicks dig it when you learn their name.

Interesting game, for sure. But I think I got a *much* more morbid message from this game. Hans is feeling dejected by his unpopularity. He dreams about making everyone equal in every form, he shrinks down. But he knows that can't happen, he begins to grow again. And then things got strange - he fights and defeats himself [Loss of hope]. And then he imagines himself flying...and jump off of a building [Action]. And then he is flashbacked to a black-and-white scene where you are shunned, again, by the girl you think you love. [Motive] My first thought went to, "Jesus, I think this kid just committed suicide."
Anyone else?

When a flying castle can't hold your dreams, the obvious thing to do is freefall out of it, drop 5000 feet into the schoolyard, then nonchalantly walk up to that hot girl you like and pretend you really don't care about her since you've learned to dream bigger. ....She doesn't care because you're still ugly. Great effort at a thoughtful game, even if the story is a bit odd. 4 stars.
But Hans went to her, she's the cool one :) thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
