Descrizione

In this game you must control Melody the siren, destroyer of a thousand ships, and use her divine voice to lure sailors to the watery grave beneath the ocean depths!

This game was completed over 7 days by the ArtsFox team as a submission for the May to June 2016 Kongregate Game Jam.

Come si gioca

Hit the notes (up, down, left and right—plus a few other keys…) as they reach the bar at the bottom of the screen. Achieve as high a combo as possible and your points will be multiplied as a result. Easy enough, right?

There are two modes: Survival and Time Attack. The two modes restrict the length of play by a number of lives and a number of seconds respectively.

Hitting the arrows is not synchronized with the singing. The singing doesn't have much of a rhythm line to follow either. It's a good idea but the realization doesn't do it justice.

One more thing i feel there was maybe a little 2 much space in some areas of the screen with the rewinding water animations. This could be fixed by increasing the size of the score and maybe the lives.

I Feel this game would be better if It only had one row instead of 4 and maybe the notes just get faster to make up for not having 4. Also for the menu maybe have things 2 click on if your looking for more info instead of having so much text on one screen at a time apart from that i think what you have done is rather fun. Keep up the good work your games are only getting better.

I like the idea of having a siren/mermaid rhythm game. But for a rhythm game, it definitely needed music that is less repetitive. I think the off placement of the arrows on different lines is an interesting challenge, would be nice if the difficulty had increased. I don't get why this game even involves using the number keys; even with the multiplier, it didn't feel like there was much of an increase in difficulty, maybe in terms of how many arrows are placed on the screen and the number you hit in succession.
