Descrizione

You've almost certainly played tic tac toe before, and you might have played Ultimate Tic Tac toe before too, but never before have you gotten to experience this classic game to its fullest extent: Extreme Ultimate Tic Tac Toe

Like regular Ultimate, you're playing on a board with smaller tic tac toe boards inside, and most of the rules are the same. In Extreme, however, there are special tiles that spawn randomly on the board that bring an interesting strategic element to your gameplay.

Enjoy random matchmaking with players around the globe, or create a private room for you and a friend. And if you just want to play some regular Ultimate Tic Tac Toe, we support that too!

Come si gioca

Ultimate Tic Tac Toe is an expansion on normal Tic Tac Toe that features 9 smaller boards arranged into a single large board.

Players take turns placing their pieces in one of the spaces of a small board, the location of which determines which small board their opponent can play in next.

When a small board is won, it becomes a filled in piece in the large board for the winner. A player wins the overall game when they manage to get a line of 3 on the large board.

Extreme Ultimate Tic Tac Toe is an expansion on normal Ultimate Tic Tac Toe that features special items that spawn in spaces randomly at the beginning of the game. These items have the following special effects:

*Bomb* - Allows the next player to play on any small board.
*Magnet* - Forces the next player to play on the same small board.
*Wildcard* - Counts as a piece for either player. Can be played on top of.

Sounds like it could be fun, if I had other people to play against. But you really need to offer an option to play against a computer opponent, otherwise no-one is going to play the game or give it the ratings it needs.

I'll look into it. Any particular AI algorithms you recommend?

You should ask GeneralVimes about the algorithm they used for their Strategic Tic-Tac-Toe game.
