Descrizione
A school project currently in progress, made from a prebuilt engine called the Spawn Engine.
The engine is an Open Source Project from our teacher and he is currently running a blog about it.
http://thespawnengine.wordpress.com
I uploaded it here so that I may record my process more effectively and gain views on what to change/add.
Input is very much appreciated.
Please also note that this is merely the Alpha stage, graphics will be updated and more enemies will be introduced.
And hopefully I’ll also be able to integrate a story.
Have fun!

Yes, nice demo, but no game. No challenge, it gets repetitive. I stopped after 65 lives.

a game that is good but can have alot added, you know like upgrades, a storyline, but other than that it is a very good concept, shoot things as they come towards you

It's a decent start, as many others have already mentioned, but please wait until you at least reach beta stage before uploading a game. Uploading when the game is less than 5% finished only annoys the users, lowers the rating, and allows the game to be "buried" in the back of the new games section before it becomes playable.

Thanks for the input, as it says in the description it is merely in the Alpha stage, more enemies will be added and I intend to add a quite extensive storyline to it.
However, I appreciate you taking the time to comment.

Hi, ive not made any games but i do play the, i think that qualifys me to give constructive criticism.
first, well done even making a game as simple as this is no mean feat.
second, i played for a little while not quite sure how to do what other than move (i dont tend to look at the instructions in the description area under the game window), so it would be good to add in game instructions.
Third, i didnt have a goal set at the beggining of the game a very important thing about a game is having goals, with out goals you get no sense of accomplishment, with out that feeling there is no drive to complete the game (even if the goal is to survive longer than you previously did)
fourth, it was to easy so maybe make the frequency of lives being given to you less, or remove bullet time(i couldnt really see a need to do it or a penalty for doing it), make it so enemies do more than move down the screen.
i hope this helped in some way, but again well done for making this
