Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. Nice to see that you are working on it! *Thumps up* The new system for the bonus - much better! Slower firing enemies that makes it possible to dodge bullets - great improvement. New system for upgrades - looks better, feels better, another *Thumps up*. Improved duration of the invincible bonus makes it now worth it to collect it (I didn't collect it before, cauz I lost more HP trying to get it, than it would have saved) . But I think you got a bit too fare with the changes - the game is way easier now, could complete the last level on the 1str try without beeing anywhere near death. Felt like you reduced the damage that enemies and collision do, maybe change that back a bit. Did I already say that the graphics are great? :) Another problem: game is over to soon, and there is no incentive to play it again. In the end a nice and funny game and you earned my respect for listening to the players and made adjustments because of it. Keep it that way :)

Thanks for all your feedback guys! We are going to make some changes and upload a new version of the game soon.
It is one of the first games we made so we still had much to learn in terms of game design :P

While completely logical, the fact that hitting bonuses from the top makes them drop away and be lost utterly makes this game too irritating to mess with. Seriously.

Ok some ideas to create a potential to replay the game: โGive ratings for every level. Something like: 1Star - completed / 2Stars completed fast / 3Stars completed fast+without beeing hit -> ppl will replay the levels much more often. โMake an upgrade available that allows to travel in space (like a big bubble around the ship - or something like that) โImplement an upgrade that costs 1,000,000 - for ppl like me that completed the game already multiple times and don't know what to do with the money - maybe change the ship into a death star? ;) or something crazy - big flying coke can - just something funny. โcreate a "hardcore" mode: all levels are 5 times longer than normal - and than also the 3 star rating (wanne see the geeks that complete the last level in 5times the normal length without beeing hit ;)) So far from me, PM me when you updated your game - wanna test it :)

We made a lot of quality-of-life improvements:
- ship is now more maneuverable
- you can no longer destroy allied balloons
- enemy balloons are easier to hit
- your bullet is larger
- enemy bullets are slower, enemies can fire in a narrower arch
- death animation is much faster.
Please consider giving it a new try! :)
