Descrizione
Le parole sono armi! Obliteracy è un gioco di parole ambientato in un futuro utopico dove l'energia viene generata dal linguaggio stesso. I guerrieri delle parole pilotano enormi robot meccanizzati in un torneo per dimostrare di essere degni del titolo di Campione—e guadagnarsi la possibilità di plasmare il futuro del mondo. Il gameplay principale di Obliteracy unisce le meccaniche familiari dei giochi di parole a tessere con una varietà di bonus, configurazioni di tabellone e sfidanti per creare una sfida sempre nuova e dinamica in ogni partita. I giocatori scelgono tra otto diversi sfidanti, ciascuno con punti di forza, debolezze, abilità e stili di gioco distintivi. Le battaglie si svolgono con set di tessere molto diversi, ognuno con la propria configurazione di tessere potenziamento che possono aumentare i danni e il guadagno di energia. Ogni personaggio ha un set unico di attacchi speciali che, se usati correttamente, possono ribaltare all'istante le sorti di una battaglia. In modalità Storia, i giocatori affrontano avversari sempre più impegnativi in otto archi narrativi distinti e coinvolgenti, tutti culminanti in battaglie contro il Codexicron, il deposito di conoscenza artificiale dell'umanità e creatore del torneo. Il multigiocatore ti permette di sfidare amici e sconosciuti da tutto il mondo in partite singole, mentre la modalità Partita Veloce ti catapulta in uno scontro generato casualmente che si adatta nel tempo al tuo livello di abilità. Obliteracy richiede prontezza mentale e strategie in continua evoluzione per assicurarsi la vittoria.
Come si gioca
Controlli con il mouse: . Clicca su una tessera sulla plancia per aggiungerla alla tua parola. . Clicca sulle tessere in una parola per rimuoverle e rimetterle sulla plancia. . Clicca sull'avversario per attaccare dopo aver formato una parola valida. . Clicca sul tuo personaggio per ricaricare (mescola tutte le lettere e termina il turno.). Clicca sui pulsanti potere del tuo personaggio per usarli quando sono carichi. Consulta il tutorial in gioco per maggiori informazioni.

game crashed after the last fight? finished off the boss, "there's only one way to find out isn't there?" gold panels closed.... and nothing. no sound, no further animation, no response to mouse nor keyboard.

Agh, I'm sorry to hear that--I'm still trying to work out a bare handful of hard-to-replicate bugs. If you'd like to see the animation, reload the game and you should be able to see the victory animation in the Databank under "Media". I'll see what I can do to fix this crash bug, and again, my apologies for the trouble! [EDIT: Blaaaaaargh I just found where the problem is and it's a real forehead-smacker and I'm fixing it now! I hope to have an update uploaded later today!]

Awesome, thank you! :D As you advance through the game, your AI opponents begin to use more advanced dictionaries, filled with all sorts of obscure and wondrous words to discover!

Nice game, I would like to see more. The achievements section in the info-databank is worth checking out, unlocking achievements makes you stronger.
Thank you! You can also use the Databank to boost and equip the upgrades you win from Loot Tiles.

I save and quit during the campaign, because it was tiring, to say the least. But, when I came back to play, there was no way for me to pick up from where I left off.
"New Game" Please fix this...
Dkpure, I'm sorry you're having trouble with the automatic saves. Obliteracy's save data is stored in Flash cookies, which may be getting deleted automatically by the system when you close windows or quit your browser. One thing you can do to ensure your game data gets saved is to link your Kongregate account to Obliteracy.com from the lower-right button on the main menu. Doing this will automagically save your progress on the Obliteracy game server (as well as unlock other characters, achievements, and more!)

the surgical strike achievement is not able to be earned.
Surgical Strike is one of the most challenging achievements to earn--you need to deal *exactly* 10,000 points of damage in a single shot to earn this achievement. I'll likely adjust this down to something a bit more reasonable (say 2,500 points of damage) before full release. Thank you!
