My first shooter game.

FIXED RESTART- ADDED PRELOADER- SOME OTHER STUFF I DONโT REMEMBER!- Remembered: Added weapon upgrade at 100k points and 250k points, made enemies faster after weapon upgrades.

It's good for your first game; but... You can go off screen and never be found again, floating in the voidness of space :3. Also the play again button doesn't work unfortunately.

I'm assuming the background is a tween animation. what you do is line the left edge of the bg up with the left edge of the stage, copy the bg image and place it inline with the first one to the right (this copy should be off stage or right next to the edge of the stage for the effect to work). tween the motion of the 2 images scrolling across to the left until the copy is where the original was. If you let that tween loop, you'll nearly have a smooth background, there's a small problem with having the last frame and first frame look the same tho! they double up which means for a split second the frame will appear to freeze, to combat this, move the bg images in the last frame of the tween back to the right a little bit :) hope this helps

Hey mate, good work for your first attempt! :) Its functional, all you needa do is build on it, increase your knowledge of flash and you'll be making some fine games I'm sure, hell I don't even know how to implement collision detection :P but then I haven't gone through the shootorials yet either haha, my flash experience has been more towards animation and basic website sorta stuff than games, but I can help with your background Issue! :)
