Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. Play DPS Idle to enjoy fast paced combat, exciting yet classic upgrade system, and a new taste to the popular "idle" gameplay. Play as slow as you want, or as fast as you want. Play relaxed on "Normal" mode, or stressed on "Hardcore" mode. Don't forget to brag to your friends!

Choose your difficulty. If you choose "Hardcore" and you die, you will have to restart. "Normal" allows you to keep playing through death. Pick a class & name. Enjoy the game. Minor details will be given to you when you open each menu.

Beginner's tip: set auto-refine on for common items EXCEPT your main weapon. Selling gems refined from items gives TONS of money for the start.
Now for your main weapon, always be on the lookout for something with attack speed of 1.56 or slightly higher (or difference of a multiple of .15). This gives you the max speed of 1.11 with a few cheap ups.
[NOTE: maybe max speed is 1.10, but I don't know if upgrading at 1.25 speed will subtract another .15, test it out, but I know 1.56 speed weapon will upgrade to 1.11 speed]

Best character for Hardcore or Normal is always the Sorcerer. Once you are geared (enough energy regen to constantly use your ability), spend your money on enchanting items. Enchant 10k Damage, 1 Mil Damage, etc. Each time you enchant higher damage, you'll have more money to spend buying diamonds for the next enchant. You can be level 500 killing level 3000+ by simply killing everything in one shot, before it can hit you.
If your next Vet item is at level 3650, get enough damage to one shot a level 3650 and get once piece of each gear type from it. Set the monster level to 1 (so you don't die once remove the damage enchanted item) and equip all your level 3650 items and retire! (This SHOULD give you max Vet due to the Level bonus being based off your item level). +1 so people can see this message!

to clear it up and like this up for people. the level in top left is ur ilvl (item lvl) and at the bottom is ur char level they wont be the same. the ilvl adjusts as u get better gear with a higher ilvl on it :) hope this clears it up

Suggestions:
1. If we're not in the main window, let the game inform us about spawning Legendary mob and treasure chest.
2. Add "sell all except diamonds" or/and "sell all" button in gem shop.
3. Add small info about how much skill points we spent in each tier.
4. Add some kind of pop-up window in Workstation which informs that enchant is one time only, and maybe change that we can still enchant item, but only with the first selected statistic.
