I believe this game is incorrectly tagged "strategy". There is no room for strategy. Not so much a maze defense as it is a "reset your upgrades after each level" defense.

Pretty much everything about this game is uninspired and bland. The graphics and music are the absolute worst. The sound effects and music sound like they're from 10 years ago. Not trying to be offensive, but this game is just what you can imagine a tower defense game would have been if it were released in the Windows 2000 days.
