Gli scacchi si giocano su una scacchiera quadrata composta da otto righe (dette traverse, numerate da 1 a 8) e otto colonne (dette colonne, indicate con le lettere da a a h). I sessantaquattro quadrati alternano colori e sono chiamati "case chiare" e "case scure". La scacchiera si posiziona con una casa chiara nell'angolo destro della traversa piรน vicina a ciascun giocatore, e i pezzi vengono disposti come mostrato nel diagramma, con ogni regina sul proprio colore. I pezzi sono divisi, per convenzione, in set bianchi e neri. I giocatori sono chiamati "Bianco" e "Nero", e ognuno inizia la partita con sedici pezzi del colore assegnato. Questi includono un re, una regina, due torri, due alfieri, due cavalli e otto pedoni. Il Bianco muove sempre per primo. I giocatori si alternano muovendo un pezzo alla volta (tranne nell'arrocco, dove si muovono due pezzi contemporaneamente).

The AI wastes lots of turns and doesn't care about basic tactics even in the highest dificulty level. The pieces just appear to run around headless. I yet have to see a consistent strategy there. You can beat this AI in 2 minutes without thinking, just by charging in. Everything else looks fine, but this AI needs serious improvement. An openings database is a must. Also a sense for the value of the pieces and for the tactical value of certain fields during the game. There's still a lot of work to do.

This game is would be 4th place on the chess game ive played. 1. Chess Evolved Online( an actual Online game. Not a click bait game like this one) 2. Quad Chess 3. Chesssss 4th. Free Online chess.

The Ai wasted lots of moves doing the exact same thing. The Ai allows some times to to have a free play. The AI doesnt use the basic tactics that would make it win a whole lot easier. I'm undeafeted with a score of 45-0 and most of it was on diffucult where the Ai appears to move with out even thinking. i would rank this game 2/10
