The mission was simple. Get in, smash the core, and get out โ a standard operation for someone like me. I guess things can't always go as planned. Now here I am, alone, unarmed, and no one is coming to help. The odds are stacked against me and my return looks hopeless.... But..... Today wasn't all bad though. I found a little toy in one of the labs during the chaos. The label reads...Radial Pulse Emitter. This tiny little thing packs a lot of punch โ it got me outta there in quite a hurry. Heh, with this little baby, I may just be able to create my own miracle and get back home.
*Gameplay*
In the world of Pulse: Freedom Run, the player must use quick-thinking and agility to navigate through 10 action-packed levels and avoid certain death from its hordes of enemies. Filled with melee enemies, grenade touting enemies, armed helicopters, commuter trains, falling buildings, and electrifying lasers, the world is a dangerous place for the player who must use their free running to quickly escape each carefully-crafted level.
Thankfully, he isn't completely empty handed. From the story, you'll notice he did find one nifty weapon: the radial pulse emitter (R.P.E.). This mysterious weapon allows the player to take control of their destiny and fight back against the enemies that await. The R.P.E. provides the player with a couple of interesting abilities (continued to Game Instructions...)

Arrow Keys - move
S - Jump
D - Pulse
A - Power Mode
Space - Pause Menu
The R.P.E. (Pulse) provides the player with a couple of interesting abilities:
First, the weapon's key function is to repel objects and enemies away. When activated, it expels a sudden surge of energy that repels everything around him including enemy grenades and enemies themselves. This creates an interesting dynamic where players must fearlessly engage groups of armed enemies and use enemy attacks to the player's advantage. The player must also pay attention to the power meter when using their pulse. The effectiveness of the pulse is directly related to how much power is saved up.
The secondary ability of the R.P.E. is the Power Mode. In Power Mode, the player can run faster and jump higher for a limited time. Once the power meter is empty, the player must wait until it has refilled again before they can engage power mode another time. This added ability requires the player to momentarily become much more alert while running through this dangerous environment.
