getting pet back: take pet's blood, give it to the stable owner in the town to revive it. Then, click on the pet in the stable and select "make active"

All flavors of buggy. Seems to flow better than the first one, but... it just feels so unpolished =\. And the grindiness... for a game with such potential, I feel like I shouldnt be giving it such a grudging 3/5

Careful, dont follow the Nail Bat tip mentioned!!
The Nail Bat is not that much of a better weapon, and there is a quest soon that asks precisely to make it, so wait for that opportunity to not spend lots of times gathering stuff.

It'd be nice if there was a "sort" kind of feature for the quests so I don't have to rummage through all those quests I accepted just to find out which ONE I wanted to do currently.

This game is amazing! I only started playing it for a couple of minutes and I already love it! day changes, auto saves, trees you can see trough, more invy spaces... 5/5 easy... ^_^

tip: do not sell anything that can't be replaced because they are needed to forge items. (old knight's memento, sorcerer's sapphire, forgotten forge, etc.)

2 reasons this game is not cool... 1. There is a glitch where you can't move (if THAT happens in a combat area you can't attack so you'll get beat to death) or it freezes at some point. 2. You can't craft multiple items at a time, like 10 potions.
