For action fast and furious, take command of a mouse-controlled fighter-interceptor flying all alone in a hostile universe of tumbling asteroids and homicidal alien space droids. You've got an unlimited supply of photon torpedoes and auto-fire, but you're awesomely outnumbered. However, with a little practice, you may survive. Game features defensive shield and unlimited scoring potential. As your score goes up, the game automatically becomes more challenging. Gameplay is simple, yet addictive. Also, included are space droids which, when hit several times, drop power ups for you to grab when your shield energy is reaching a critical stage.

The object of the game is to destroy as many asteroids and space droids as possible, and keep your ship in space as long as possible. Use your mouse to maneuver your ship through space while auto-firing photon torpedoes at the asteroids and space droids. When an asteroid is hit, it may just break up into smaller pieces, or it may be completely pulverized. When a space droid is hit, it may drop a space mine on you. Also, it may be firing torpedoes at you. Use your left mouse button to activate your defensive shield.

my thoughts for the game:
1. decent idea, combining the old style asteroids with a top down shooter, +1 for idea
2. visuals aren't bad, but perhaps the ship could turn with the mouse, instead of keeping the same rocking. I'll give you a +1 for the visual
3. Music isn't bad, but there was no mute button that I could see, +1/2 point
4. There really isn't much of a storyline in this game, but for this, it really isn't needed, I would like to maybe see something besides score for a achievement, +1/2
5. I don't see much content for after 10 min. or so, but the high scores give you something to shoot for to beat. +1/2
Overall impression and suggestions: Decent time waster, could use a mute button, and maybe a few additional "targets", some upgrades, or simple powerups when the player gets past a set score. Other than that, no major issues, and a good job for a small team, 3.5/5, but rounded up to 4.

Feels like it would be a good Alpha for something a bit more in-depth, but the physics are clean, and it plays well.
