Great game! I really appreciate this new influx of geography games on Kongregate. A way to improve is to perhaps add more options, such as countries, states, and regions? And maybe different modes for the map such as turning on borders. Still a very solid game!

It is not easy to add regions, states, countries or generally speaking, shapes, as a target. Measurement of the distance to the nearest point of a complex shape is quite difficult in 2D, and gets harder on 3D sphere. Also, please notice, some countries would be very very surprising due to their overseas territories. You could hit France on the Pacific Ocean for example. Should territorial waters be valid as taget? I see a lot of problems...

Unlike Ardagan, I LIKE the fact that the game has no borders. It increases the challenge... do you REALLY know where things are on the globe? Plus, it's nice to look at the world without man-made borders cluttering it.

Glad for the update, but did the soccer teams disappear or am i just not finding it.
There was a bug reported in soccer teams (the game hanged after second level), so I temporarily disabled this category until I fix it. Also, some people suggested it should be removed and made into a completely new game in sports category. That''s pretty interesting idea I need to think over.

This game is awesome! couple suggestions for your next thing 1) some sort of practice mode where you can ask for a "hint" and get what continent it's on. Just to help out a little or help you think about it. 2) In a practice mode not have an allotment of distance but just a tracker for average guess distance. So the longer you play the worse it'll probably get. but it also won't restart you all the time.
