I... I did it. 100%. I'm shaking, my heart is still beating like crazy, I can't believe it. Wow, this was hard! One of the reasons being that (while earning the survival loot platinum badge) I didn't know that the combo gives you more soulons, and I had to go to area 12 or 13 'til I got it, cuz I didn't pay much attention to the combo. It took me HOURS (and I got over 800 000 soulons I couldn't spend). But wow, I did it. I really did it.

The Black Captain/Dark Zoul/Engineer fight is probably the least fun boss fight I've ever played. Hitting the captain flings you to the other side of the screen with no invincibility frames so that Zoul can instantly pelt you with fireballs. Zoul also has a shield that flings you to the other side of the screen if you touch him when he isn't vulnerable. Having either of these happen when the Engineer is still throwing explosives and you're guaranteed to lose one of your three health. If you hit Zoul before the other two are dead you may as well reset because 4 or more small fireballs is a nightmare. The Zoul fight in and of itself is bad because it's so goddamn long and tedious that when he gets into his second phase (hope to god that he does send out one high fireball and two low in a row) you're probably going to get screwed and have to start the entire irritating fight from the beginning.

Tips for the last arena fight:
1. Engineer's spread explosive drop after getting hit can be completely avoided if you hug either wall.
2. Once the platforms come out in order to hit the Engineer if you attack him while he's about to lob a bomb you'll take damage too. After the Captain's first projectile swing he'll lift the sword back up which does damage to you too so remember to wait a little longer before attacking him.
3. Only ever deal damage to the Engineer while Zoul is firing his dumb laser that nobody gets hit with. Once he tires himself out and his shield is down instead completely ignore him and attack the Captain instead. If you get thrown back into a vulnerable Zoul reset. Ideally you'll have hit the Engineer and the Captain every time he fires his laser so that you can off them both at once when their health is low.
4. Remember to move towards the middle of the screen while jumping/sliding in his second form to give you more space to breathe.

Ok let's go straight to the point. I understand that the impossible badge should be hard hard and super hard. I get it. Most of the challenges are hard but doable. But the acrobatic challenges are straight up bullshit. You have to know beforehand what to do because the screen goes too fast. :(

In the ending, it's hilarious that most of the characters that show up match the title at the top of the screen, e. g. Tiny Imperfections Hunter: Berserker

Got the first badges in december 2015. Put it down after a few days then when I just could not get more than 94%. I rediscovered the game a few days ago, and replayed it. It took me a while, but I finally got the impossible badge! Amazing game!

There is a bit too much trial and error involved for me, considering how the game pretends to be holding you by the hand with its tutorials.

How am I just now noticing the fact that the levels map doesn't take up the entire screen? I swear, I have played this game for years and have not ONCE noticed that knife at the left of the screen.

This game is amazing! It is a very hard game, but still very fun! The main campaign isn't too bad, some challenges are, well, challenges! I got to the final level and did the boss fight after a few tries, after getting 100% on each level until level 10, I was feeling well. Then I had to get a perfect on level 10, very difficult! After that hard hurtle, I had to beat all bosses at the same time, very challenging. I thought it would finally be over, until I saw, the platinum collector badge for infinite mode... This. Is. Hard. Something tells me that I'll be here for a few more days. Overall: Very fun and challenging game, would defiantly recommend!

@why_am_: Um, why did you copy/paste a comment from the Top Comments section that was made by dauntless over 4 years ago?

If you have a game that demands perfect runs, and you don't make R a hotkey to restart, you are a domestic terrorist, my friend.

If you need to transfer your save file to another computer and are playing on Chrome, the .sol's that have your data are probably in this folder (copy/paste it) or something similar: "C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Pepper Data\Shockwave Flash\WritableRoot\#SharedObjects\FVQUZVFV\chat.kongregate.com\gamez\0022\0727\live\RogueSoul2.swf"

I think half the reason this game is so hard is because YOUR CHARACTER also auto-scrolls... For some reason the game is laggy in Chrome (gaming laptop with low graphics).

Guy below me: *plays only first few levels* => 1/5 all in all, very easy and boring for my tastes.
HOW FCKIN DENSE CAN YOU BE
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
1/5 this could have been something good. first problem, the auto-scrolling levels. personally, i dont like this type of design because they are either too slow, making the game easy, or too fast, making the game unreasonably hard unless difficulty is the intended purpose. i only played the first few levels, and it is too slow and boring as a result. i suggest a time limit per level so the player can do what they want. also, even if it was like that, the enemies seem too easy. all you do is touch them and theyre dead. should be a dedicated manual attack button. 1/5 all in all, very easy and boring for my tastes.

oh, and are you trying to force us to get the Best of 2014 Quest, Kong? what if i want the shinies and the botds, but not that? you so sneaky....
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
hey. i remember these guys... (and the music, mostly)... anyway, not a fan of the auto-scroller, unless it's a shmup. even if it would take away from the difficulty, it's something that only goes in a platformer every once in a while. still, fun game though.
