Welcome to CitySim! Here you run a city, building houses, constructing offices, opening hospitals, etc.
At the main menu, you have 3 options:
Start, Load Map, and Map Editor
Click Start to select a pre-built map based on real countries/cities.
Select a map you would like to play.
You have several things you can build.
Click on a building on the menu to get info for that building.
The aim of the game is to have fun trying to build a working city with as high a population as possible while keeping a positive income, this will mean you will need to make a balanced use of all buildings just to increase happiness/population.
The way the products and residents work:
Residents earn different amounts of money from different jobs.
Residents automatically buy goods available at supermarkets starting with food, then industrial, then commercial.
If a resident can not afford a good, the money they earned will be added to that of their next pay to enable them to buy more expensive goods in later months.

Residential buildings:
These buildings are where your inhabitants live.
Population of each residential building depends on Resident happiness.
You can find out where the residents are working by clicking on a built Residential building.
Power/Water Plants, Police/Fire Stations, Hospitals, Parks, Stadiums, Zoos, Schools and Colleges:
Increase the happiness of Residential buildings in their area of effect.
These buildings hire people to work in, they can cost alot but they can also increase your population alot.
Some of these buildings create pollution.
Commercial/Industrial/Farm buildings:
They employ people from Residential buildings in their area of effect.
They manufacture goods which can be sold at Supermarket in their area of effect.
They create pollution.
You can check how many employees a building has by checking the bottom-left with the building selected.
Supermarkets:
They sell products to Residential buildings in their area of effect.
They can only hold a certain amount of each product.
You can find out how much money each is earning by checking the bottom-left with a supermarket selected.
Train Stations:
Train Stations in the area of effect of any building that employs residents has the area of effect of the trains station added to that of the empoyer.
Train Stations link together to increase their area of effect.
Depot Stations:
These work the same way as train stations, but with buildings that manufacture goods and supermarkets.

Map Editor:
In the map editor you can create maps just like the pre-made maps.
To start, click New Empty or New Full. (Empty creates an empty map with no land, Full create a map all land)
Click on the squares to shift between land and not land.
When you are finished with your map, click Save.
The text box at the left contains the map data with which you can copy and save/share.
You can now press Play to play the map.
Load Map:
Above the load map button there is a text box, paste map data from the map editor here.
Once you have pasted the data into the text box, click Load Map.

Have I forgotten to comment on this game? No matter, I'll take care of that now. :)
Graphically, you have something. But it's not right, at least not yet. The GUI makes me feel very secluded from an actual city building experience. There is little strategy here, at least as far as I can see. There is really no sign of progression, other then numeral values counting up. There is no motive for building the city, it's also completey non-apparent as to why cities such as the UK (London) are even completely empty to start with. Perhaps setting us up with an already developed city and giving us the task to manage it would make this game enjoyable. But even then, rewarding the player for his effort while executing an enjoyable gaming experience will be a little tough.
Keep working on it and I'm sure it will be a great game. But for now, nothing more then a small demonstartion of a possible final product in the works.

doesn't even need a tutorial, just a little bit of text explaining what buildings do when you put the mouse cursor over the button, also desperately needs a save game option for the game, not just the map editor...

Graphically, it's just not there. A little bit too confusing for new users. I'm sure if you took the time to, you could really get into it, but because of the new-user unfriendliness I'll have to say 3/5.
