Pretty much everything listy said. I think HE3 should be EXACTLY like HE1, a remake (literally) on Unity graphics, and maybe with some new features added, but nothing too game breaking or anything.

It will be like HE1 extended, just like you say. Game play will be mostly the same +some additions for better taste +map editor +well working multiplayer.

I love Hex empire 1. I still play it every week or so, just for a little strategic fun. If this is a good example of what to expect from Hex Empire 3, I fear people will be just as disappointed as with HE2, the multiplayer abortion. The mechanics seem to have taken a step backwards, catering instead to a 3d map that is much harder to visually analyze in terms of city layout and best attack paths. Perhaps most disappointing is the reduced movement. Only 3 moves per turn, one hex per move is just annoying. I often found in HE1 that, especially near the end, even 5 moves made my eventual victory drag on as I moved enough troops to crush my last ai opponent. Sorry dude, but I don't think you'll be hitting that 5 grand goal if this is the anywhere near the finished product. I'd rather pay $5 for an old copy of Civilization:Revolution.

Real Hex Empire 3 will be more like Hex Empire 1 in terms of game play with some great additions. This is just simple mini game intended to bring some publicity for HE3 as I'm trying to get some founding for the development. Once again: "Killing by Numbers" is like HE3 in terms of graphic and **NOT** in terms of game play. I thought I stated it clearly enough in the introduction to the game (that nobody reads, I guess). I totally agree HE2 was not good enough (and it's probably reason I can't raise founds for HE3), just forget it, please.

I appreciate the developer response from you Uunxx. I did read the description, but from what I gathered, this was meant as a "snapshot" and, in that sense, I just don't think it was successful in doing what you wanted it to (getting donations). I realize this is just one opinion, but I strongly suggest you either just take this down or, preferably, replace it with a somewhat improved version. Ideally, if a "classic" mode is going to exist in the final product, that is what you'd want to include as a demo. If you just had a 2d map with 6 factions on a large map, I believe you would increase donations heavily.

Despite my critical response, I would still really like to see another Hex Empire. Your first one is one of the best games I've played, and not just in terms of flash games. I sincerely wish you luck in getting this game off the ground.

Thanks for your remarks, I understand your point of view. Looking at my donations I guess I will have to found the game myself, because I'm not going to work on this demo anymore. This was meant to be really just a mini-game. Because of current stage of development is not far from basic graphic engine I just packed what I had and added simple rules, that won't even exist in HE3. If it was meant to be a part of actual HE3 I would title it Hex Empire 3 Alpha or something, but this is just a little game based on the engine, with different title to emphasize this fact. Perhaps it was a mistake but it will take too much time to make something closer to HE3 before my fundraising campaign ends, and I surely won't start the third campaign because it will look purely stupid. I think I will try this stuff with some other title I have on my mind so I will make use of this negative experience.

Ehm, skip turn? Haven't got any army left to move. Hint: read HELP before starting the game.
