Gets really repetitive after a few rounds. Right now the gameplay is, sorry, plain boring. Run to the book, run to the shelf, repeat ad infinitum. Make the task and the scenery interesting. Make sure that the levels are visually interesting, with lighting effects, many colours and varying themes and structures (multiple rooms, stairs, tables etc.). And add more tasks or abilities. As far as I know Unity has a built in physics engine. This could be used perfectly here. Grab a book and throw it from a gallery in the shelf (think Gravity Gun). Or, if you're into rugby, design it like that, with lazy students (ragdolls) trying to block you out, waiting for you to either avoid them or give them the tackle of their lives. These are just two ideas. By combining many of them this game can become great.

Needs more variety but you have avoided the basic errors that make so many first games entirely unplayable messes. EPR89's suggestions for more variety are all good. Given your book and shelf graphics are decently done (and contrary to earlier comments, plenty of people still read) I think you'd be best expanding on what you've already done rather than just starting from scratch.

I completely understand how people find this repetitive and boring, but for some reason, this game intrigues me: it has a nice learning curve, the atmosphere of the mysterious room is quite cool (and amazing for the type of game this is) and you have a keen sense of perspective to hide some books rather well without changing the lay-out of the walls.

Even if I am alone in this, I have to say this is a really nice game to unwind after a long day of work and I like it!
