Then click on a purple square to build it
Click on a turret to open the panel then choose to sell it or upgrade it

Not enough info about the towers. How much damage / dps do they do? It would be nice to know before purchase what their range is, as well as what their range and dps will be after the upgrade, before we buy the upgrade.
Enemy data would also be nice. At least have hit points. Maybe viewable when we click on an enemy.

bleh... wave 40. It's almost too easy and then that crap hit. No deselect option. No range aura during placement. No details on upgrade - some towers do not change radius. dmg boost? No details on damage over time ability. Spotlight never moves?
Nice concept though. Simple TD

Needs a lot more, though I like the atmosphere and graphics, the towers needs more upgrades, maybe split them up like upgrade power, rate and range separate. Also when clicking in empty space it should deselect whatever is selected.
Plus some more, but I'm sure if you look at other TD's you will get some ideas.

trick to wave 40 on hard is have a well placed $4200 upgraded ($6800) with slow almost everywhere (8 or 9 should do it). use just enough $200 guns and a couple slows, maybe through in a 1600 gun to get to the big gun asap... SPOILER ALERT... Victory is at level sixty
