i cant figure it out, i think its a river but it doesnt do anything when i enter it

Shoot for the eyes - and by "shoot for the eyes", I mean "shoot somewhere in the vicinity of the eyes. Maybe. Probably. Or maybe they'll just die a couple of seconds later, their heads exploding right after they manage to kill you. Meh. *shrugs*" Great idea for the game, and all well and good up to the point where actually doing what you're supposed to do gets you impossibly stuck. A few tweaks, and it'd be great, I'm sure.
