Classic chess just went tactical.
Chess Ops flips the traditional board game into a fully animated, retro-tech warzone. Played entirely through an old-school CRT with a Tactical dashboard . A whole New Way Of Playing Chess
Animated 3D Takedowns – Your pieces are the arsenal. The Pawn is a tactical pistol, the Knight is a samurai sword, the Bishop is a sniper, the Rook is a Military tank, the Queen is a minigun , and the King is A Boxer with Boxing Gloves. Every capture triggers a fully animated 3D combat sequence.
Game Modes – Play vs A.I. across four different threat levels, or go head-to-head in real life with 2 Player 1v1
Online Multiplayer – play public or private macths and rank up elo points .
Target Age: 13+
遊び方
Left-Click / Tap: Select a piece, choose a highlighted tile to move or attack, and interact with the tactical dashboard.
Click & Hold / Touch & Hold: Press and hold the fingerprint scanner on your dashboard to confirm and launch your Elimination Streaks (Airstrikes & Altered Vision).
Drag / Swipe: Scroll through the Threat Level wheel on the main menu to set the A.I. difficulty.

The concept is somewhat novel, if basic (it heavily encourages dumb sacrifices), but it works somewhat. However, it does lack in some departments, mainly that the abilities come into play way too soon (especially the stand and shoot mode is extremely powerful for only 2 captures) and the timer still runs through the special attack animations, which completely defeats the point of using abilities in bullet for instance. The AI seems very lackluster, but that might also be the point of it to get some training before going online.
