Unearthly Dungeon Escape

Once you put the knife in the slot you cannot see the symbols. I had to guess them. it was only by looking at the walkthrough that I discovered the knife had symbols.

@darkrowan did you clicked the lamp top left with the down arrow showing a spot where you can use the stone? @oceanspoud i had same problem i thought that i was missing something and i did what i dont like t_t check walkthrougts. and what whas what i missing? nothing. only that the point to place the oil was a super smal area. this game need more improvement, but was fun 4/5. ps: ill check the others games similars to this.

I've played a bunch of this developer's games. More often than not I have to check the walkthrough, but it's generally because I know where an object has to be placed or that a clue pertains to a particular puzzle but can't quite get EXACTLY how the puzzle is supposed to be arranged. I consider the times I only have to look at the walkthrough for exact placements or very obscure clues as success for me!

some of the interface isn't obvious, for example, it took me a while to realize I had to drag items to where they needed to be used, and even then, th target zones where often wierd, the oil above the holes rather than on the object for example. Graphics are good, and the puzzles are challenging, just needs a bit more refining.
