really cool game! layout strategy adds a nice layer to idle game. balancing is still a bit off, particularly on boiler house. lvl 6 boiler house sells ~135k, which at this point is useless (just unlocked thermo, grinding nuclear still). logical strategy for my to be able to implement thermo ought to be system of heat exchangers/heat sinks that pour into boiler houses, which would lead to increased generator capacity and minimizing the infrastructure. however, with boiler houses being scaled so low, this isn't possible. maybe i'm just misunderstanding the behaviors of some of the pieces here, but something seems off.
(side note - haven't had banks since that update, but the bank 'upgrade' slot still shows, but i can't even research banks yet)
right now: 4/5, definitely possible to pop this bad boy up to a 5/5 with some balancing/description updates

Can you add indicator of each generator load percentage? Like this gen can process 50k heat, but actually processes only 20k heat.
But water pump (or pipe connected to pump) next to generator. Then add some heat producing element next to generator. Generator gets boost from the water pumped into it.

What would be awesome is if you could place mountain geothermal plants or for some added flare you could also make a new kind of research station like a observatory that would make astro research. once you get enough of this research you could make a rocket to travel places like the moon.

i am playing on google chrome and it will not let me copy the save data as in when i right click no options pop up like it should.

Buying multiple tiles with shift+click is kind of buggish at the moment - you pay the cost of the tile on every mouse move event, without regard for whether the cell your mouse is over already contains the component, and without a credit for the sale value of the component it would be replacing. I discovered this when my I tried to put in a network of water pipes and drained my treasury instead. Whoops.
ooh, that one needs to get fixed. It happens only with components that have life - wind turbines, nuclear cells etc. (It refreshes them) Other components are fine. Will be fixed with next update

Isolation upgrade description is wrong. It states that upgrade increases Isolation efficiency by 100%, but actually increase it by 50%.

Would be nice to be able to assign territory to buildings without having money, so that once money appear, they got built.

Ever since that recent update the game doesn't tick anymore. Pausing and playing will make it tick once, but other than the game ticks aren't happening...

for everyone going "this game needs a simulator", you have two options. Option one: go into settings, export your save. Option two: open the game in a new window, do not close the old one. use new window as your simulator, close simulator window *first*. wait a little while for old game to overwrite save. simulator complete.

For terrain, it could be actually even more complicated: mountains, hills, rivers, plains. Rivers could be an inland source of water (for cooling purposes). For the rest, I have no idea yet xD .

this is actually one of the most interesting idles i have played. it makes you actually think for layouts and effectiveness which i think is great, its a much better idle than just stare and click like most are. one thing though the research progression is waaaayyy to slow in my opinion. i would suggest a third tier to the research center before unlocking fusion. cause 500billion research points is pretty far-fetched when you only receive 325000 per tick. and thats with both island and village full of only research.

also, i highly recommend replacing said heat battery with a generator with a couple heat max upgrades. more work, less room.

good luck getting the boiler past a battery, lvl 9 boiler processes 371k, upgrade costs are in the trillions. lvl 1 heat battery holds millions. the max heat of the boiler may as well be 1 since ***if the boiler takes heat directly it will blow up***

jcheung: I understand the basic mechanics of the device, though I appreciate the clarification. The description does not match the function, however. "Takes heat from adjacent tiles if amount is over (a rising number based on the research level) and sells it all at once." The rising number starts at 18000 and grows with the research level. The max heat is listed as 2000. It seems that the needed heat is ever increasing. Eventually the needed heat to sell will be higher than that of the available battery. None of this makes any real sense to me. And it doesn't match what I'm seeing the item do. It is difficult to plan when the stated statistics can not match the items observed and apparently intended function. *Shrug* If you have a better understanding of the details please share. Banks are WAY overpriced for what they can return. You need trillions before they can start to every pay for themselves. On a bank of 3 billion+ An island of 20 apx returns 190 per tick. 800 mil returns 190 per tick.

Could some slightly clearer description of how boiler houses work please be forth coming? Right now it says that it sells heat when the heat is 9 times (18,000) the max heat the thing can handle. (2000) And that number increases with the purchase of upgrades. (Level 4 sells at 69,149) So... Huh?

while i'm at it, heat batteries should not only have a single output-the boiler room. heat pipes should be allowed to draw from them as well.

A notification at the beginning and again when you purchase your next power plant that upgrades are not game wide. This will help players pick a strategy when upgrading instead of wasting tons of money upgrading items that will not be beneficial later in the game

I would like to have a button to sell all buildings in one area, it is uselessly tiresome to rightclick every building when setting up new reactors.

I believe what Eijiwolf is saying is that it will only sell the amount specified, when the description suggests it will sell everything over the threshhold. Perhaps rewording it to state "Sells heat from nearby batteries and generators, per tick. That way the user knows it isn't going to sell everything over .
