The checkpoints seem to randomly stop working after a certain number of deaths and the volume occasionally doubles after you die. Physics are fairly spot on. The particle effects look godawful. Jump noise isn't terrible. Disclosure: Did not beat first screen, got to checkpoint and it stopped working twice.
