I really like how just...resigned everyone in Vortex Point seem to enabling this trio's (or well, the controlled character's) rampant kleptomania. Like, they actually UNDERSTAND that "well, he's just taking all this stuff almost seemingly at random, but he IS going to stop this ghost in that lighthouse that has literally killed people, so, whatever I guess."
Such an attitude, I believe is UNPRECEDENTEDLY helpful in the annals of paranormal investigator/adventurers.
