instead of pixel hunting, it should be clue hunting, like instead of a key hidden behind a random brick, maybe when searching around your brother's hut it says "he always won hide and seek, i always thought he was hiding in the house but really he went outside and hid under the porch" so you go off and search under the floorboards of the porch and find the key, or something like that
