By the way, guys, I know it's got a fairly easy engine, but please don't bitch about it - it's quite a challenge to write a decent chess CPU.

Pretty good, won't let you castle queen side though and im with you, "You are the victory"? and you definetly need to be able to tell the pieces apart more. needs to be better. was able to trade bishop 4 his queen.

anyway, quite functional, but you need to know exactly what unit is what and keep track of it. they don't even look the same for both sides...so thats an added hardship, there IS a reason most chess programs don't look fancy you know-...?
