This is the first game I ever made, I believe it gives you a lot of fun.
River Raid was a first scrolling shooter videogame (released in 1982 by Activision for the Atari copmuters, and later for C64, ZX Spectrum, and more platform).
I made this oldschool style game, inspired by shootorial - as remake of this clasic River Raid. Soon I made many changes in game - I'm still learning and believe your comments help improve game.
Like in original the player controls an airplane in a top-down view over a river and gets points for shooting down enemy planes, helicopters, ships etc. By flying over fuel-stations, the plane's tank can be refilled. You can shift side to side and change the speed of the plane. Sections of the river are marked by bridges.
Now in game are available three modes: clasic, extended and crazy, in future I will add two indyvidual missions and some hidden modes (maybe some form of multiplayer?)
I'm preparing achievement system like in many kongregate games. It will be available soon.
遊び方
SPACE- change autofire mode
Mouse - higher than plane - accelerate, lower than plane - decelerate
mouse click - fire or (if autofire depend of fire) autofire on
P - pause game
in non clasic campanies:
SHIFT-Rocket
A Vulcan Cannon
Tips:
Your missiles (except Vulcan Canon) moves right and left like your fighter.
You can not shoot before your missile crash with some target or go outside screen.
To maximize your score blow up fuels after use it. (By fireing over it)

People, most of you say that mouse controls sucks. Why you can't just change controls to keyboard and enjoy good remake of classic game? :)

Very good remake of old legendary game! Even missiles turns like in oryginal...
Maybe you can make another legendary Atari games like Misja, Fred, Archon and Blinky Scary

The control scheme is so sensitive as to be nearly unplayable. Moving the mouse forward of the plane any but the slightest bit causes it to rocket forward like a donkey after being punched in the nuts. I couldn't play the 5 levels of the 'classic' mode required to see the unlockable content, it was so frustrating. 3/5 for what appears to be a faithful rendition of the original, but I honestly feel "Elastic" was truly innovative - this is just a remake, and not a particularly good one, at that.
