You're letting the operating system deal with the keyboard, which is a mistake. The problem is that the OS waits half a second before repeating. Then, when you make the pop sound, you must stop collecting keys because if I was holding one of the side keys when it hit, the next one to come out jumps a few positions. You should be getting the keyups and keydowns and managing movement that way. Second, one of the pieces is the same color as the background. I left a hole which ended up next to a single block left by that piece, and I couldn't tell which was the hole and which the filled in block.

Tetris-style game? Like Tetris is a Tetris-style game. Still, it is a good Tetris clone. The controls are very smooth. The biggest problem is the graphics, especially the huge number of pieces that are the same color as the background. it's hard to tell where the holes are sometimes because of the lack of contrast.

Interesting as a tetris game, but I seems to lack any physics. I piled up blocks in an extremely precarious pile and they didn't fall over. Might wanna fix that. I like the different colors of blocks but the backgroung could be a different color (try black- it would make the gaps stand out). Other than that, maybe enlarge the screen a bit, and I think there might be a bug in the scoring system. Try these suggestions out and I think you'll have a popular tetris game!

Not a bad game, good level of difficulty but the colours can make it hard to spot empty spaces so 3/5
