Close the trap door and put the locked chest on it to stop the timer. There is a key on the clock for the chest and many tools are in the chest. Your goal is to smash the windows and slingshot a hook and rope to the tree branch.

Wow, this really is bad. The timer is stupidly short. You can start right up again (presumably wiser) but by the third time around you really just don't care enough to figure out what goes where and how to use it. I would welcome the stranger at that point.

Timer is too short and there is no clear goal of how to "prevent the stranger from entering." Ends up as rapidly click everywhere to find random stuff with neither rhyme nor reason.
