개발자 업데이트
Version 2.0 Released!
The game has been abandoned for more than 10 years now, and I think version 2.0 is more than fitting for such a huge update.
So, here’s what’s new:
New Features:
- The game has been ported from Flash to HTML5
- A secret quest to obtain a sword
- A secret quest to obtain a pet
- New title screen
Quality of Life:
- 60 fps instead of 30
- Better transitions between screens
- A functional pause menu with some info on collected items
- Platforming aid: coyote frames, hold jump to jump higher
- Spikes no longer kill you on the slightest touch
- All texts have been rewritten for better clarity
- Added feedback (“juice”) on various player actions
- Made final encounter more straightforward
- Fixed all previously known bugs and inconveniences
Why update the game now, after more than 10 years?
It’s actually fun to release something to the people! Getting stuck in development for long periods of time without any feedback loop can be emotionally exhausting, so it was a fun change of pace for me.
I encourage everyone else who has old projects lying around to give porting them a try! Especially Flash/Haxe ones.

Pretty straightforward, no pull-your-hair-out sections. With all those power-ups, I'd think the good ending would be that I became the boss of the dungeon. And funny thing is, I'd SWEAR I've been pk'ed by someone with that name in another game before
