Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. Not bad!
But one shot per one pressing of a space button is a bit annoying

Tying lives to shot powerups is a clever trick - the first time I played I died in one shot, the second time I think I managed to get a seven shot spread for about 1 second before getting hit. However, it would be nice to be able to just hold down the fire button rather than have to hammer it to the point of RSI.

btw imo gettin more than 5 shots is less effective
