I have removed the easy mode and made normal the only way to play, the highscores are now empty again – take up the challenge!

I like it but it should be a little bit more challenging. Perhaps add a few features such as maybe a pointer showing you where the closest green star is. Also maybe make it so that fuel is removed every time you hit an obstacle.
It would also be fun to eventually see a multi-player version of this where you could race multiple people (once you use a green star it's yours and no one else can use it) and maybe even push them into the obstacles.
It's a great start though!

Way better than the one submitted for the GiTD.
One suggestion: End game when fuel and speed are 0. I ran out of fuel, but was about to reach a green circle just before the game over screen spawned.

But a bad idea, your score submit needs to be when you die, and not just when your API connects though! I like the frictionless movement, makes you have to think more, but does need to be harder in some way perhaps. Not a bad game in it's own right though. Just make the high score submit correctly!

ok, I like MasterTec's suggestions. I'd suggest some music or sound effects. maybe even collision damage, as opposed to draining fuel, though that works just as well!
