Welcome,

What is M² ?
Its an arcade / platformer / shooter game inspired by The Matrix and Super Meat Boy.

Gameplay ?
Step 1 : Go for a run and kill them blue.
Step 2 : Die.
Step 3 : Get a highscore.
Step 4 : Spend your highscore to buy upgrades for your next run.
Step 5 : Go to step 1.

Can i have a real description ?
Of course, for the ambience i will describe it as abstract, there is no music, you play notes while shooting and killing. The world is only rendered with letters/characters inspired by The Matrix's digital rain that appears around you and where you shoot.

Objectives?
Survive and score, collect power ups to permanently upgrade your field of view, your number of jumps and your piercing attack to the end of the run. Make a score and go back to the menu to access the shop. You will be able to start the next run with a lot more upgrades like a faster attack rate, a better Slow-Mo recharge rate / duration and visibility range (=/= fov) to score even more.

I made this game alone and this is my first release.
I'd like to know what you think about it !

The work is still in progress but is playable.

You can play with keyboard + mouse but the experience is better with a gamepad.
