설명

Legacy is a strategy game where you try to build the highest-scoring legacy by distributing the numbers you draw into your empire, garden and opus. Compete with your friends by playing the same game number--when you specify a game number you will get the exact same random shuffle!

플레이 방법

You can read the "full game rules":http://www.playlegacy.net/p/rules.html or read the short version below.

It works like this: when you draw a card it is numbered from 1 to 90. Then you decide where to play that number, because each part of your legacy has a different structure and scoring system. Just click where you want the next numbered card to go.

You opus looks like musical notes because it alternates numbers "high" and "low". What matters in your opus is the 1's digit: put a number like 39 in the "high" position for +9 and put a number like 21 in the "low" position because it scores -1.

Your garden looks like a tree. Put a big number in first, something near 90, because you can only play a number as a branch if it is smaller than the number you want to branch from. You get 5 points for every leaf in your garden (a leaf is a number with no other numbers branching from it).

The third part of your legacy is your empire. Here you are trying to build a big rectangle and the numbers have to alternate between even and odd.

GAME END
There are three journey cards, marked with a star, that get shuffled in. When you draw a journey it just gets set to the side, and when the third journey card is drawn the games ends. Keep an eye on the journeys; as long as they haven't been drawn try to make some risky moves!

Let’s play number 224. I played at my best on this one!

I've got 176 on 631.
Like it. Relaxing and not stressing. Quite balaced. But yeah, you can't avoid reading rules. I wonder how long creator was thinking about scoring system.

I had a group of play testers who played many, many games with me over about three months! The scoring system definitely evolved; for instance the empire didn't have the corner bonuses like it does now. We used to go for really gigantic empires like 10-by-14 or 12-by-12. You can beat other players with a huge empire, but of course you run the risk of getting almost no points if the third journey appears and your empire is only half-built. So now you can still go for an ultra-risky gigantic empire, but there are also safer strategies for the empire like going super-small with all quality corners like 8's.

I've been having fun playing with the goal of maximizing my points per card. 2.5 and change I consider decent. I've beaten 2.9 once that I can recall.

All in all a nice game. Something new for a change. But I'm not sure I get all the rules. For example: When is the game over? After drawing a certain number of cards? How many?

Glad you like the game! So there are three journey cards, marked with a star, that get shuffled in. When you draw a journey it just gets set to the side, and when the third journey card is drawn the games ends. So when there are two journeys out you know the game could end at any moment! I'll add this little bit to the short rules above.

Game 631 - Score 36 + 151 + 34 = 221. Score per number played = 3.623 http://imgur.com/XzqpxLM I like this but I have no friends to beat :(
