This game is great! Although I noticed a huge increase in difficulty from Arena II-Arena III. The trick is to spend money on clothing as you only need the SD-ball for range, and just mash S and D.

i didnt need anything more than ground slammer(DSSD) and small vampirism(boots) to beat arena 7 :D

Guess I was thinking along the same lines as entel: Vampirism + large area of effect attack makes even lvl 7 ridiculously easy. just span dssd and collect cash.
