Only the seeking rockets are a useful weapon. Fully upgraded in the first few levels, and a few levels enemies become imposible to beat unless you do some time-consuming long distance kiting.

Am I the only one that was fully upgraded by level 5? If it happens that quick then what's the point of upgrades?

Pretty good. you need to a reference frame for true such as horizon and degree from 0 indicator. makes doing a 180 spin much easier. also a speed gauge to figure out how fast you are goin.

Pretty good. There's a short but huge drop in framerate when a large group of enemies enter the screen, though. I guess once they're out-of-view you drop something that you load when the come back in sight, but I don't think that's a good idea. The last time you want to be paralyzed is when a huge horde has just appeared in front of you.
How long is this game, anyway? I got to level 17 and could have gone much farther without too much trouble.
