There needs to be some signal when you can fire again, and even at the beginning it shouldn't take this long. Just endlessly circling around the enemies and trying to fire is pretty frustrating.
)
You can fire every 0.2 seconds. If you can't fire you might be out of ammo (shown in the bottom-left ui)? Use CO2 on flames to get fire back.

hot feet feels like a downgrade
Luckily you can switch between the 'feet' upgrades at your leisure.
