Click on spell buttons to select them
Drag gems to move, throw or combine them
1-6 or B/T/C/M/W/G selects spells
P to pause
N to send next wave instantly
Q to switch 1x/3x speed
Hold shift to:
-place multiple towers/traps
-create/combine multiple gems
-throw multiple gem bombs

Changes in v. 1.2K:
Fixed total number of victory amulets in the level selector info panel (50 insteead of 60)
Changed size and position of “return to the map” and “restart battle” buttons to avoid pressing them accidentally
Grammatical/typo fixes
Mana pool cost is limited to 95% of max mana
Towers don’t fire at invulnerable monsters anymore
Overall visuals further reduced (->less lag with dozens of traps) if number of particles is set to zero in the options panel
“Max XP earned” field added to the in-game score popup panel

It's awesome to see some veteran wizards still playing GemCraft 0 in 2019, 10 years after release! :) a new GemCraft chapter is in development, GemCraft Frostborn Wrath has just got a Coming Soon page on Steam (you can search for the game to get there and Wishlist it to get notified when it arrives). And, nothing's sure yet, but I also have some future plans to release remakes of the old GemCraft chapters, to make them somehow survive the end of Flash Player support in web browsers.

The "This is the game that never ends" Should be an impossible badge in so many ways I don't know where to start.

I love how Greg acknowledges how insanely long it takes to complete this one...and yet when Labyrinth came around, he still made beating it only a hard badge....with 169 damn levels.. The Gemcraft series is one of my favorites series...but all the badges in every game are just nuts. I mean in number one you have to reach level 30 just for a medium. Both this and 3 need to be impossibles. I don't know why he decided to be so hardcore with the badges in this series but, damn.

It's worth noting that combining a mid-grade or high-grade gem (3-5 or higher) with a low-grade gem (1-2) increases the stats of the gem without increasing its grade. It's a cheap way to increase the potency of a gem without sacrificing loads of mana on pricy grade-ups. Doing this many, many times to one gem effectively creates a "super gem," capable of fending off an entire level's worth of enemies by itself. =P
