I like the idea of playing it at 2x, that could be a nice bonus feature. Add a menu, maybe some purchasable upgrades, and clean up the design a little bit and you'll have a solid space shooter.

fun def needs upgrades, you should make a life bar instead of loosing a life every time u get hit that would be grate.
