Reading Character Cards (page 2 of 2)

Double-click on a character card to see the back, which shows the character's abilities.

Innate Ability
A special ability that is unique to each character and is always active in combat.
Combat Abilities
Each character has four attacks or abilities from which a player can choose during combat. Mouseover the numbers to view details for each.
Buffs and Debuffs
Some abilities apply a positive effect (buff) on your or a negative effect (debuff) on your opponent. Some attacks also have a chance of triggering buffs or debuffs on top of immediate damage done.
Damage
Amount of damage () done against 0 resistance to this type of attack.
Number of Swings
The "x3" means this attack hits three times. Against a 3 Dark Magic resistance this attack would do 15 damage: (8-3) x 3 = 15.
Energy
Energy () available for changing ranges and using abilities. All characters replenish 20 energy at the end of each turn, up to a max of 100.
Hit Rate
Chance that an attack will hit opponent. If attack misses, no damage will be done.
Proc Rate
The proc rate (success chance) of buffs and debuffs being applied, assuming the original attack succeeds.
Speed
The attack with the highest speed occurs first. If the faster attack interrupts, stuns, or kills the opponent, the slower attack will not succeed.
Type
There are three types of attacks: Physical (), Light Magic (), Dark Magic (). This attack is Dark Magic.
Range
Combat can occur at either close or far range. Some attacks and abilities can only be performed at one range, but this particular attack can be performed at both ranges.
