There are many factors to consider when selecting which attack or ability to use. The most important are what type it is ( Physical (), Light Magic (), Dark Magic () ), the damage it does, the speed, and whether it applies any buffs (positive effects to you) or debuffs (negative effects on your opponent).

The color of the button indicates which type attack it is.

Physical (silver)
Dark Magic (purple)
Light Magic (Blue)
Energy Cost
Amount of energy () necessary to perform this attack.
Damage
Amount of damage () done to health against 0 resistance to this type of attack.
Number of Swings
The "x8" means this attack hits multiple times.
Speed
The ability with the highest speed occurs first. If the faster ability interrupts, stuns, or kills the opponent, the slower ability will not succeed.
Buffs & Debuffs
A green icon indicates a buff; a red icon indicates a debuff.
Range
Shows which range(s) ability can be performed at.
