Deskripsi

I can't say enough good things about this game! As mentioned by other commentors, you have created something that is educational in a truly thoughtful and effective way. Beyond that, it's very engaging as a puzzle game, not to mention really funny and enjoyable. The narrative story ties everything together beautifully, and the acting element (missing in almost all browser games) added genuine emotion. I really think this compares well with something like Portal 2 which accomplished many of the same things (minus the real-world educational value), presumably on a much larger budget. All-in-all, a truly impressive accomplishment on so many levels! I don't know if this is your day job, but it absolutely should be!

Comments like this make it all worthwhile :) . Programming on large game teams has been my day job for a while, but its always been on other people's games. This has been my first attempt to design and implement a game by myself.

Well I've got to the level with 4 platforms and a lock requiring 1/4 Amp. Can't get past it - any ideas please?

The pattern you want to make in the fuel cell is 1 big square (powering the first platform) - this is 3/4 size. Then three smaller squares side by side placed on top of it - these will be 1/4 size each. If you still need help, let me know and I'll post a screenshot.

So, the very first thing that I'm going to do is qualify myself. I've worked in controls and engineering for 20 years and am intimately familiar with wiring components and circuitry. This is not a puzzle game in my opinion, this is an educational game through and through and is the absolute best primer to basic electricity that I have ever seen. I've actually forced one of my techs who was interested in finding an actual electricity based game to play. If there's graphic defects, I didn't notice. But I did appreciate all of the thought that went into the concepts and the emphasis on pedagogical methods for reinforcing topics. Well done! I would love to see a furthering of the concept with capacitance and inductance as well.

I'm stuck in a puzzle after I was told how I can make some machines parallel and in a series. The puzzle looks near identical to the previous two rooms, and it involves two resistors and a platform-raising machine. Connecting the platform to no resistors puts it at "1", which is too high to jump to. Connecting to one resistor puts it at "1/2", which lets me jump to the platform but the ledge is just too high to grab. Connecting to both resistors puts it at "1/3", which is way too low to be able to get to the ledge. Making any of these wires parallel is completely irrelevant because they wouldn't affect each other. This puzzle seems impossible, which is frustrating because the game has been excellent up to this point.

Sounds like you need to get 2/3 flowing through the platform. If you think about the pattern of power squares that should appearing the fuel cell, you should see one big-ish square and on top of it (or under it) two smaller squares side-by-side. To make, this, the two smaller squares should be in parallel with each other and together (as a unit) they should be in series with the big square (the platform). If you are still stuck, let me know and I'l try and post a screenshot.
