Didga's Adventure Demo

Off to a good start. Superb art as always. I would increase the speed of the game, however and decrease the amount of damage that it takes to kill enemies, maybe implement a punching combo system of sorts.

Off to a great start, it is a demo after-all.

A good start for a demo, but it has a few problems. First off there needs to be more variety in the attacks (not just a punch). Second, the enemies seem to take too many hits at the beginning for early on weak opponents. Finally (though this might be just my opinion) I don't think there should be a timer for the levels. I'm the type of person that likes to kill every enemy before I leave a level and that get's annoying if I die when a timer reaches 0. On a positive note the art is good and I like how you have the health, speed, and strength clearly listed and how you get stronger by collecting the items. It's a good change of pace from buying upgrades with coins/experience. 3/5 because it has some problems that should be fixed, but it's just a demo right now and the basic game play is good.

Such good art, too bad you screwed up everywhere else.

Too slow, enemies take too many hits to start with and knock you back just far enough to get hit again by the time you can move again. 1/5

some solid pixel art, but that's about all there is, animation and frame rate are pretty poor, the basic gameplay's there, but there's nothing to do.
