Picture is way cool - however, the movement doesn't work for me, using Chrome and logged in to Kongregate.

I use Edge. Can you use Edge? I will try Chrome, I have that. What isn't working? It is for me. I am going to go test it on Chrome! Tested. Works on Chrome. I don't know what would cause your issue, seems like it doesn't exist. Do you have a gamepad plugged in?
