Deskripsi

Frost is an atmospheric game where you have crashed on a cold snowy planet and must find shelter. No instructions are given, and you can't explore forever. This is an experimental game and it takes patience to complete. It may seem hopeless/slow but that is the atmosphere I wanted to create.

A lot of people give hell to the interactive fiction, art games for lacking gameplay. But this seemed worse than that to me. All you do is wander around an environment consisting of white and gray lines with some snow without even an idea of what you're supposed to be doing. Not only is there no gameplay, there isn't even any story, which at least art games have going for them.

it was nice for a while and i was curious, but since i don't know what i am searching for i gave up. you really can't see shit and the textures do not make it clear if you are moving at all sometimes.

There's less fog now so it's easier to make your way around and hopefully better give the sensation that you're moving. You gotta find the domes with the orange trees!

Well, I managed to find the dome and survive. The best advice I can give is to note where the domes are before you crash. This gives a rough idea of where they are. Then, pick an angle off the two trees and go straight until you find a tree or die.
The game needs some work. I fell off the map when I picked an angle that was a little too far to the right of the intact dome. It was frustrating to find domes and not even have a hint of where you are in relation to anything. It also would have been nice to see my spaceship to maybe figure out the angle I crashed in relation to the domes I saw on the surface. Could have used a statement after the crash scene. Something like "I have to find shelter before I freeze. Maybe I can use one of those domes I saw before I crashed."
You get points for trying something different. The graphics looked nice and the music fit the setting. The trees were a nice touch to make it easier to find a dome.
