Deskripsi

A student-made, story-driven project. Take on the role of Frank Myers and explore the city of Frantek, a town he knows very well.

Along the way, all is not as Frank remembers as he begins to unravel a story as to what has been happening in the past.

* Your gun shoots a bullet when you resume from the pause menu.

* I chose all the simple-logic decisions, so it was weird when Frank suddenly became super emotional. It made the scene have less impact than it could have.

* At the "Your Choices" screen, I'm not exactly sure what the red and green coloration is supposed to mean. Mine were all half green and half red. This screen also had a perpetual "Still trying to fetch data" message in the corner. Also there seems to be a bug where the mouse disappears when you hit escape in this screen. You have to wait through a game reload to play again.

* The viewing angle in the train was nice, but it made the movement mechanics annoying since you can't just hold down the keys but have to feather the move-right key to keep moving at the appropriate angle. The viewing angle in that scene should have been straight-on or at 45 degrees to better work with WASD. Another option would be for the forward key move the character at the correct angle automatically.

* Everybody else just sits down at the back of the train even though it's apparently urgent that we keep moving.

* It's amusing to watch the creature rag-dolls fly. On the other hand, the bullet knockback can make them seem a bit too janky at times. This was especially noticeable during the scene after the train.

* Apparently the characters can't tell that a relatively fresh corpse isn't a loved-one. And to have it happen twice in such a short story is just... bad.

* I really liked the little optional things like interacting with the newspaper, or standing in a fire, or turning on the radio. Wish there was more of these optional interactive world-elements in the game. Currently, these are especially lacking in the later half of the game.

* As the game currently stands, It would have been better to play to this games strengths and focus a bit less on killing creatures. The size of their groups seem a little bit too large for the outbreak to have just started recently.

* Companions make no attempt to evade the creatures. Of course, companions don't get hurt in the first place.

* Frank didn't always cooperate with my mouse and face towards it. At times he even decided to uncontrollably spin in circles. I sometimes had to shove Frank into walls at different angles to make him face the angle I wanted him to. This was particularly bad during the train scene.

* Character complains about possibly not having enough ammo even though it never becomes a problem. Made me think I had to start being conservative with my shots.

* It's annoying how everything is faster than you are. The gameplay would be helped a great deal if some of the creatures were faster and slower than you.

* The building where one of the main characters dies has no roof during the animation.

* The introductory audio from Ranjit's entrance into the story took too long, considering how close the group was to death. It really threw off my sense of time and made me wonder if the story's setting had suddenly changed. I also feel like the black screen here was less about the story and more about not wanting to animate it.

* It took a reeeally long time to load up the game. Probably should have sacrificed some music or something to help with that.

* Loading screen had a horizontal scroll bar appearing and disappearing every second, causing the Unity logo to shake up and down. (It seems like you guys didn't thoroughly think through the browser-based aspects.) Would be more appealing if there was a custom loading screen, if possible.

* Frank is floating off the ground once he steps off the sidewalk in the opening scene.

* This is a personal opinion, but I have a strong distaste for timed decision making. Your timers were reasonable in length, though. Maybe even a bit too long.

* The decisions your character makes seem to be acknowledged in the beginning of the game, and I was really enjoying that, but in the later half they don't feel like they make any impact at all.
