I think you've got a winner here. It's different, it's enjoyable. I wasn't expecting the boss-fights at all, which were well-handled. And the upgrades are great... only suggestion would be, maybe to add something that shows you how many points you need for the next upgrade. And after a few playthroughs, the upgrades started to feel a taddddd grindy. Still, 5/5 for a great, well-executed idea.

Amazing game! Not only is the art well done but the controls are simple and fun. Amazing and it's very fun getting excited about you getting close to a gift.

Lag seems fine now, oddly enough. Some thoughts: the game is too grindy - it gets tedious; the items will sometimes be where you can't get them (under the floor, in the walls). The graphics, music, and gameplay are all good, though! Just needs a little polish. :-)
